Victoria and Craig - An intimate al fresco wedding at Il Falconiere | Tuscany

Getting married at Il Falconiere is like stepping into a different world where time is slow and the living is gracious, yet relaxing and very charming’. The little family chapel, the swimming pool among olive trees or the vineyards would be the perfect setting for an unforgettable event.

Getting married at Il Falconiere is like stepping into a different world where time is slow and the living is gracious, yet relaxing and very charming’. The little family chapel, the swimming pool among olive trees or the vineyards would be the perfect setting for an unforgettable event. Victoria and Craig's vision was to have a relaxed and fun day with their family and friends, filled with taste and elegance, without haste. Their dream came true thanks to the invaluable help of Alessia, who carefully studied the event design, with a palette of white flowers and roses and a touch of green and gold as the guiding aesthetic of the day.

Against the backdrop of rolling hills and vineyards, the couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony facing the tiny chapel of the estate, with a flower arch profusely adorned to frame the future spouses. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the picturesque Tuscan landscape, sipping on fine wines and indulging in delectable appetizers.

As for the reception the day continued with an unforgettable dinner held in the courtyard of the estate. Guests gathered around a single long table adorned with an abundance of white flowers, lush greenery, candles, and twinkling lights, creating a romantic and enchanting atmosphere.

The Michelin-starred restaurant provided a culinary experience to remember, with each course expertly crafted to tantalize the taste buds and delight the senses. Against the backdrop of laughter and joy, the newlyweds and their loved ones savored every moment of the magical evening, creating memories to last a lifetime.

If you are looking for a dreamy Tuscan venue in Italy for your wedding, Borgo di Castelvecchio is definitely your place! Set in the landscape of Val D’Orcia, facing Pienza and surrounded by the Brunello and Nobile vineyards, this location offers a pure tuscan experience. Lauren and Tom, with the precious help of Chiara from Weddings in Tuscany, exchanged vows on a scenic hillside in front of their closest friends and family and, after a pool side aperitivo, they made their way to the stunning outdoor reception, in the ancient courtyard under the shadow of a great helm. We loved so much the vibrant and colorful floral arrangements from Jardin Divers and the romantic atmosphere of that day!

FROM RUFFLED BLOG: “There is nothing more romantic then cruising through the rolling hills of Tuscany with your beau on your way to get your favorite gelato. Right? This beautiful wedding designed by Weddings in Tuscany has us weak in the knees with the bold orange and pink hues that perfectly compliment the sunny Italian demeanor. Set in an ancient Italian villa, this al fresco wedding is overflowing with the prettiest roses and hydrangeas, and suddenly we are packing our bags to go eat our weight in pasta and pizza in Tuscany. L&V Photography caught each vibrant detail that has us wishing for summer all over again!”

Carys + Joshua - An intimate wedding in Tuscany

A large portion of Mediterranean flair, a touch of rustic chic, a whiff of vintage, a lot of romance and of course endless love, those were the ingredients for the wonderful Tuscany wedding of Cary and Josh we oh-so-loved!

A large portion of Mediterranean flair, a touch of rustic chic, a whiff of vintage, a lot of romance and of course endless love, those were the ingredients for the wonderful Tuscany wedding of Cary and Josh we oh-so-loved!

From the garden of the Fattoria la Serra the view of the surroundings is stunning, which is even more stunning on the bride. In the daylight the property looks enchanted, at night almost magical. A meadow lined with pines and olive trees serves as an idyllic place for the emotional ceremony. A few candles and the sound of a violin, as well as the floral artworks of pampas grass by Fluida Design framed the intimate moment. After the two lovebirds exchanged their vows, we spent some time together taking a walk in the surrounding nature.

For the reception decors the stylishly laid table designed by Chiara Sernesi of Weddingsintuscany was already waiting under a green pergola, which gave a light sheen to the elegant design with its shimmering chandeliers. An authentic tuscan dream!

Alison + Greg - A chic al fresco wedding in pienza | Tuscany

Can there be anywhere more perfect for a place to marry than Tuscany? Alison and Greg chose an ancient monastery, Sant’Anna in Camprena, in the heart of Italy to tie the knot, and it did not disappoint!

Can there be anywhere more perfect for a place to marry than Tuscany? Alison and Greg chose an ancient monastery, Sant’Anna in Camprena, in the heart of Italy to tie the knot, and it did not disappoint! The location offered a perfect setting for their special day, from the getting ready to the reception, with its beautiful gardens, the cloister and the perfectly decorated rooms. Wedding day began with a yoga class in the olive groves for the bride and her friends, while some of the boys went on a Vespa tour of the countryside. For the ceremony Ali and Greg chose to hold their nuptials in the abbey church dedicated to Saint Anna, surrounded by family and friends, and then, the reception was held in the center of the monastery courtyard, between fruit trees and ancient walls creating the perfect romantic setting. The party was beyond beautiful, with two dramatic and perfectly decorated imperial tables, some great aperitivi and a stunning dinner setup, illuminated by strung bare bulbs. With the expert guidance of Alessia, they created a magical feel with a gorgeous pale blue, pink, yellow and green color palette for the florals.

From Alison: “We envisioned our wedding being a celebration of our love for each other, of course, and we wanted it to reflect who we are and what we appreciate about the life we have together. Some of our favorite perks of life include delicious food, incredible wine, dance-worthy music, excuses for celebrations, interesting culture, and memorable travel. What better place to combine those interests than an historic monastery in Italy! Some of our happiest memories have been made through our travels, I used to live in Italy, and our first trip together outside the US was to Italy... So the country had us smitten and was in our hearts from the start of the wedding planning process. Greg and I had been together for ten years prior to our wedding, so many of our family members and friends knew and loved each other beforehand; we wanted our wedding to be a time to show our appreciation to all of our loved ones who have supported us throughout the years. We wanted to create a wedding experience for our guests that made them feel like they were spoiled with a special and relaxing vacation, similar to special vacations Greg and I have enjoyed together, vacations filled with unique wines, long dinners, and loads of fun. “

An intimate wedding with just seven guests can be a dream come true, especially if the main theme is “Romeo & Juliet”.

Nicole and Chris are just too cute for words and everything about their wedding was completely magical!

They chose Tuscany for their destination wedding and we cannot be more happier about this choice!
