Francesca + Filippo - couple session in the hills

You know how much we love to shoot couples: love sessions are just our fav, and we are even happier when our couples open the door of their houses to let us into their world. We really have the chance to know them better, and that's vitally important for our work. This time we couldn't be more at ease with this easy going, cat lover, tv series freak pair. And as they love the place where we live as much as we do, we just took the car and drove around the hills to find the best spots. And believe us, it was worth it.

Sapete quanto ci piace fotografare coppie: le love session sono fra i nostri servizi preferiti, e siamo ancora più felici quando le nostre coppie ci aprono le porte della loro casa, e ci lasciano mettere piede nel loro mondo. Riusciamo a conoscerli meglio, a diventare qualcosa in più di fotografi e clienti, e questo per noi è fondamentale per fare bene il nostro lavoro. Questa volta non potevamo trovarci più a nostro agio, con Francesca e Filippo: rilassati, divertenti, amanti dei gatti e delle serie tv, proprio come noi. In più, visto che anche loro adorano le nostre colline, non hanno avuto da ridire alla nostra idea di salire in macchina e semplicemente guidare senza meta, in cerca dei posti migliori. E credeteci, ne è valsa la pena.

Erin + Robert - Love session in Lake Como

Erin and Robert flew over from Washington D.C. to spend their holidays in Europe, and contacted us to have a couple session in wonderful Lake Como. The day when their session was planned there was a real thunderstorm, and we had to move everything to the day after, when they were supposed to get back home. So we decided to meet at dawn, in Bellagio, and this was one of the best choices we ever made: the village was silent and calm, no tourists and people around, and all those beautiful alleys, gardens and terraces on the lake just for us. Their love and smiles made the rest.

Erin e Robert sono venuti da Washington D.C. a passare le loro vacanze in Europa, e ci hanno contattato per un servizio di coppia nella splendida cornice del lago di Como. Il giorno in cui avevamo fissato la loro session, una vera e propria tempesta ci ha costretto a rimandarla al giorno seguente, quando loro sarebbero dovuti ripartire. Per questo, abbiamo deciso di incontrarci all'alba a Bellagio, e questa si è rivelata una delle decisioni migliori che abbiamo mai preso: il paese era calmo e silenzioso, non c'erano folla e turisti in giro, e avevamo tutte quelle splendide stradine, quei giardini e le terrazze affacciate sul lago tutte per noi. Il loro amore, e i loro sorrisi hanno fatto il resto.
