Natalia + James - intimate wedding in Langhe

Did we already mention that we love Langhe? Since this amazing boho wedding, we think that they are one of the most beautiful, yet underrated places of our country. When Natalia and James contacted us for their wedding right in the heart of Langhe, we were so happy to have a chance to come back to those hills and vineyards! Since Natalia's parents left England to move there, and perfectly knew the place, they were good enough to find out one of the best Relais in the Asti region: the Locanda Sant'Uffizio, a true heaven-on-earth, where the whole wedding took place. 

We definitely have a thing for intimate weddings like this one, where all the fuzz and stress is left outside, the guests are really people you can't wait to meet and hug on your wedding day and speeches are emotional and heartfelt.

Spenser + Magnus - an intimate Lake Como wedding

When Spenser, a sweet American girl, met Magnus, a charming Swedish guy, it was love at first sight. Their life has always been on the move, but even if they now call Sweden home, they wanted to find somewhere really special to gather family and friends for their wedding day.

Villa Regina Teodolinda seemed the perfect place, with its breathtaking views over Lake Como, and its elegant and classy Italian atmosphere. 

Since it was an intimate wedding (yay for intimate weddings!), they could easily accomodate all of their guests at the villa and the whole day took place right there, from the getting ready, to the lovely civil ceremony in the terrace overlooking the Lake, to the reception, in the great room, with a perfectly decorated imperial table and some amazing food served by the catering. A quick move of the tables, and the room was ready for the party and dancing, and oh boy, they danced all night long with the loveliest smiles on their faces!

Reena + Matt - an elegant wedding at Villa Le Fontanelle

When Malaysia and United States meet in Singapore, why not deciding to get married in Italy? Reena and Matt are definitely travel souls, and their multi-cultural wedding at Villa le Fontanelle, just outside Florence reflects their love for the Italian culture and lifestyle. The night before their wedding, they welcomed their guests with a rehearsal dinner in the heart of Chianti, before gathering them in this awesome Italian Villa, where the views over the city are absolutely breathtaking.

Superb food and wine by Galateo were served all night long, at the a-ma-zing table set up by Chiara Sernesi (Weddings in Tuscany) and her team, with the help of Florum floral designers.

It was great to share this special day with the girls at Gattotigre Video: for once, we were a women-only team ready to capture the most romantic and feminine details of this special Tuscan wedding day.

Bénédicte + Romain - wedding photography in the French Alps

When Bénédicte and Romain emailed us for their wedding, we knew almost nothing about French Alps, and yet we were absolutely fascinated by the photos we had seen and secretly hoped to visit those places one day.  So, imagine how incredibly excited we were to have the opportunity to travel there for this lovely couple's wedding. Not far from the sandy beaches of the French Riviera and the typical, sunny towns of Provence, there is a whole world of mountain villages, forts and dramatic landscapes we couldn't wait to discover and shoot.

We really got to confirm our excitement for this corner of the world and, most of all, we loved to share a couple of days with amazing people who stated from the very beginning the idea that a wedding party should be first of all a day you spend with the people you love, doing what you love, whatever this means to you. And for Bénédicte and Romain and their families that meant mostly chilling in the old and beautiful family home, laughing, eating delicious food and reckless dancing into the night.

Leda + Peter - destination wedding at Vignamaggio

Leda and Peter were truly the sweetest pair to work with. We met them the afternoon before their wedding for their engagement session, and spent a couple of hours together, just chatting, laughing and thinking about the next day. When we arrived at beautiful Vignamaggio, on the morning of the wedding, a sense of excitement and anticipation filled every room. The great team of the planner Joelle, The Italian Event, was already at work, and all the guests, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were half ready, offering glasses of Prosecco and helping hands. You could easily feel a festive feeling, and already tell the special bonding and closeness of this special families and friends.

From the ceremony in a nearby country church, to the reception, back to the gardens of the Villa, with Tuscan food and wine and awesome Tuscan landscape in the background, every details made this a day to remember.
