Katie & Coleman’s destination wedding in Tuscany felt like a perfectly curated long weekend, elevated, expressive, and effortlessly cool.
At La Pescaia Resort, a timeless estate in the heart of the Maremma countryside, every moment carried a strong visual identity, shaped by thoughtful design and a natural sense of flow.
The welcome dinner introduced a vibrant, summery atmosphere: two long imperial tables layered with bold florals, golden light settling over the garden, signature cocktails, and a Tuscan grill perfuming the air. A curated gelato cart added a playful Italian note, woven seamlessly into the overall aesthetic.
The ceremony took place in the villa’s courtyard, beneath a majestic tree. Intimate and sculptural, with a serpentine aisle moving through the space and creating a sense of rhythm and perspective. The setting felt immersive, with every detail contributing to a cohesive visual story.
Floral design played a central role. Marbled anthuriums, created using an ancient Florentine paper-marbling technique, introduced fluid, one-of-a-kind patterns into the compositions. Each element read like a small piece of art, adding depth and movement throughout the design.
As the light softened, dinner moved outdoors: a single imperial table, candlelight flickering, soft strings of lights above, and an atmosphere that naturally extended into the night.
From the watercolor stationery inspired by the villa to the layered textures of the florals, Katie & Coleman’s wedding reflects a modern vision of a luxury destination wedding in Tuscany, distinctive, design-driven, and deeply personal.
