Barbara and Ward’s Tuscan wedding was full of sweet and happy moments!
Their special day was inspired by food, emotions and a shared love of travel so these two lovebirds decided to bring all their beloved family & friends to Villa il Pozzo, in the heart of Chianti region, for an entire weekend of celebration. For the welcome dinner they decided to have an informal evening by the private terrace of the Villa, overlooking the olive groves and vineyards, with pizza and Chianti wine served.
For their big day they chose the scenic Pieve di San Lazzaro a Lucardo as the dreamy setting for their ceremony, and with the expert help of Alessia they bring their romantic, natural, and elegant vibes together into one beautifully designed event.
Using a fall color palette of burgundy, peach, mauve, and gold, accented with organic foliage they crafted a unique reception table decor that paired beautifully with the charming look of the bulb festoon lights and candles in the venue’s garden.
A truly perfect rustic chic wedding that we oh so loved!

Alison + Greg - A chic al fresco wedding in pienza | Tuscany
Can there be anywhere more perfect for a place to marry than Tuscany? Alison and Greg chose an ancient monastery, Sant’Anna in Camprena, in the heart of Italy to tie the knot, and it did not disappoint!
Can there be anywhere more perfect for a place to marry than Tuscany? Alison and Greg chose an ancient monastery, Sant’Anna in Camprena, in the heart of Italy to tie the knot, and it did not disappoint! The location offered a perfect setting for their special day, from the getting ready to the reception, with its beautiful gardens, the cloister and the perfectly decorated rooms. Wedding day began with a yoga class in the olive groves for the bride and her friends, while some of the boys went on a Vespa tour of the countryside. For the ceremony Ali and Greg chose to hold their nuptials in the abbey church dedicated to Saint Anna, surrounded by family and friends, and then, the reception was held in the center of the monastery courtyard, between fruit trees and ancient walls creating the perfect romantic setting. The party was beyond beautiful, with two dramatic and perfectly decorated imperial tables, some great aperitivi and a stunning dinner setup, illuminated by strung bare bulbs. With the expert guidance of Alessia, they created a magical feel with a gorgeous pale blue, pink, yellow and green color palette for the florals.
From Alison: “We envisioned our wedding being a celebration of our love for each other, of course, and we wanted it to reflect who we are and what we appreciate about the life we have together. Some of our favorite perks of life include delicious food, incredible wine, dance-worthy music, excuses for celebrations, interesting culture, and memorable travel. What better place to combine those interests than an historic monastery in Italy! Some of our happiest memories have been made through our travels, I used to live in Italy, and our first trip together outside the US was to Italy... So the country had us smitten and was in our hearts from the start of the wedding planning process. Greg and I had been together for ten years prior to our wedding, so many of our family members and friends knew and loved each other beforehand; we wanted our wedding to be a time to show our appreciation to all of our loved ones who have supported us throughout the years. We wanted to create a wedding experience for our guests that made them feel like they were spoiled with a special and relaxing vacation, similar to special vacations Greg and I have enjoyed together, vacations filled with unique wines, long dinners, and loads of fun. “

Giulia + Federico - an intimate al fresco wedding in Oltrepo'
Country weddings never fail to woo us, especially when they come in our beautiful hills, not far from where we live.
Giulia and Federico exchanged their vows in a secret courtyard, in a little stone village where everyone knows each other. For the couple was very important to find just the right place, where you feel at home, to share their love with dearest friends and families.

Using a mix of simple greenery, wildflowers, hand-painted wood signs and vintage-meets-rustic decor, they took the romantic feel up a level and created a relaxed yet elegant day that was full of heartfelt moments and joy.

Martina + Antonio - a sweet and colorful wedding in Liguria
Martina and Antonio were looking for a special place to gather their family and friends for their wedding day. Living and working in Milan, they wanted some beautiful country scenery, but also didn't want to be too far from their hometown. When they discovered the Esedra of Santo Stefano, a magnificent Villa overlooking the sea, they instantly knew it was the right place. With its olive groves all around, the little church you can walk to, and the elegant atmosphere you can breath while exploring its gardens, the Esedra seemed the perfect venue to celebrate their romantic and joyful day.

We feel so blessed to meet beautiful souls like these two: their smiles lightened up the whole day, and they were so easy to work with! We always say so when we speak to worried or anxious couples: the most important ingredient for beautiful wedding photography is just a couple in love. And they definitely are.
