Maternity shooting

We think of maternity shootings as a way to create lovely memories of the special bond between mothers and babies, even before giving birth. The way they look at their belly, the softness of their touch, the smiles at the thought of what will be in few days or months... a life changing experience, that deserves to be remembered forever, even in its early stages.

On an early summer afternoon, in a beautiful little beach in Genova, we met Gaia, with her lovely dress and flowers in her hair. She's gorgeous and her beauty shines even more when she talks with dreamy eyes about her beautiful baby boy, Giovanni.

Siamo convinte che i servizi maternity siano un modo splendido di creare ricordi del legame speciale fra mamme e bimbi, ancora prima del parto. Il modo in cui guardano il pancione, la dolcezza con cui lo accarezzano, i loro sorrisi, al pensiero di quello che succederà di lì a pochi giorni, o pochi mesi... è un'esperienza che cambia la vita, e secondo noi merita di essere ricordata per sempre, anche nelle sue prime fasi.

In un pomeriggio di inizio estate, in una splendida spiaggetta di Genova, abbiamo incontrato Gaia, con il suo vestito rosa e fiori nei capelli. È bellissima, e la sua bellezza risplende ancora di più, quando parla con l'emozione negli occhi, del suo bellissimo bimbo, Giovanni.

Ettore - servizio newborn

Today we are taking a little break from the wedding season and we want to show you another kind of session we are particularly fond of. Newborn sessions are so much fun! We love to think about themes & props, and to take time to cuddle the babies between the photos. Everything is quite fast, because we don't want to get them tired or angry, but you don't need so much time to get good shots.

Oggi ci prendiamo una piccola pausa dalla stagione di matrimoni per mostrarvi un altro tipo di servizio a cui siamo particolarmente affezionate. Le newborn session sono davvero divertenti! Ci piace pensare ai temi e ai props, e prenderci tempo fra uno scatto e l'altro per coccolare i bimbi. È tutto piuttosto veloce, perché non vogliamo che i piccoli si stanchino o si arrabbino, ma dopotutto non serve molto tempo per avere buoni scatti.

Oggi conoscerete Ettore, che è stato estremamente paziente, e ci ha permesso di giocare un po' con la grafica in postproduzione. Enjoy!

Carlo l'abbiamo conosciuto quando ancora era nel pancione della sua mamma, in un caldissimo pomeriggio estivo d'agosto. Mancavano quattro settimane alla sua nascita. A poco meno di un mese di vita l'abbiamo visto per la prima volta, e fotografato insieme alla sua splendida famiglia: ecco il racconto di quella mattinata.
