Briar + Tim - An intimate al fresco wedding at Villa Catignano

Outdoor weddings never fail to woo us, especially when they come in Tuscany. The stunning Villa Catignano, surrounded by italian nature and courtyards, was the perfect background to celebrate the sweetest couple ever! Briar and Tim’s beautiful wedding day was a perfect balance between romance and lively wonder. These two lovebirds chose Italy for their destination wedding to gather their families and friends together for the most special day! From the mix and match lavender bridesmaid dresses to their lovely reception under twinkle lights, everything was totally on point. Floé team helped their vision come to life, and we can’t be more grateful to have been part of this day.

Juliette + Robin - wedding at Villa Sparina

We feel so privileged when we can work so close to our home, with such amazing weddings!

Juliette and Robin are from England and Germany, but they live and work in Switzerland. The love Italian food and wine, and thought an Italian resort among the vineyards was the perfect venue for their three-day long wedding weekend. Villa Sparina offered all of that, with its breathtaking scenery, ivy-covered ancient buildings and dramatic caves where the dinner was held.

Their amazing planners, Chic Weddings in Italy created for our couple a dreamy ceremony setting under the trees, a first rustic happy hour, and an amazing black tie event for the night. The venue's caterer spoiled the guests with the most creative food and wine choices, and a great music band, Damien McFly, brought everyone (and we mean everyone) on the dance floor for a night that was nothing short of amazing.

So, if vineyards, rustic chic style and outdoor ceremonies are your thing, be sure not to miss this!

Lucia + Andrea - an outdoor, relaxed wedding at Cascina Boscaccio

Qualche volta succede. Succede che una coppia si diverta davvero il giorno del matrimonio, e che l'atmosfera sia rilassata e gioiosa, come quella che ci si aspetta ad una festa fra amici. Succede che il matrimonio rifletta davvero la loro personalità, che sia pieno di dettagli, di minuzie pensate, scelte con amore, condivise. 

Certo, la coppia in questione dev'essere speciale. Li avete già conosciuti, su queste pagine: Lucia e Andrea, e Memole, sempre con loro, che avevamo fotografato in una tiepida giornata primaverile fra campi e laghi, e che ci hanno emozionato ancora una volta per quanto siano perfetti l'uno per l'altra. Come direbbero loro, "come pane e burro".

Sometimes it happens. It happens that you meet a couple who can really enjoy their wedding day, and the mood is like the one you would expected at a party with friends. It happens that they make their wedding truly their own, with details created by themselves, with love and care, to reflect their personality.

Of course, to have all of this you need to have a special couple. But we already knew them and knew they are one amazing pair. Lucia and Andrea, and their dog Memole. We shot their engagement session on a warm spring day, and on their wedding day we got emotional once again seeing how they look perfect together. As they would say, like bread and butter.

Alessandra + Marco - intimate summer wedding in Oltrepò

"Life is what happens to you while your busy making other plans" sang John Lennon. And that's exactly what happened to Alessandra and Marco, who discovered, in the early stages of wedding organization, that a baby bump would have been with them on their wedding day.

The more, the merrier, as they say! This beautiful couple decided to get married anyway: some adjustments to the dress, an intimate ceremony with the closest family and friends, a beautiful location where it just feels like home. 

La vita è quello che ti capita quando sei impegnato a fare altri progetti, cantava John Lennon. Ed è proprio quello che è successo ad Alessandra e Marco, che nelle prime fasi di organizzazione del matrimonio, hanno scoperto che nella data prescelta, ci sarebbe stato un pancione, insieme a loro. 

Ma come si dice, più siamo e meglio è! Questa splendida coppia ha deciso di sposarsi comunque: qualche modifica al vestito, una festa raccolta, con gli amici più cari e la famiglia, e una location in cui potersi sentire un po' come a casa.

Claire + Glenn - Tuscan wedding

Claire and Glenn got married in the heart of Tuscany, in a lovely venue where stunning landscapes, history, traditions and art live together. The day of their wedding a severe thunderstorm hit Florence, which is not so far. You can see that in the first pictures: when we got there the sky was dark and grey, and we had terrible updates coming from friends over there.

Did we worry about it for a minute? Not at all, because we knew we were in safe hands with the amazing team of Weddings in Italy . Not only did they set an amazing (amazing!) ceremony venue and dinner table, but they also made feel everyone of us comfortable because they can  figure out something, even in the craziest last minute emergencies. So, thank you Rossana and Neve: we love to work with a great team. 

Thank you Claire, for your trust, even when we made you walk with your heels in the vineyards, and thank you to the both of you, Claire and Glenn, because your intimate ceremony with your friends and family really touched our hearts deeply.
