Giulia + Federico - an intimate al fresco wedding in Oltrepo'
Country weddings never fail to woo us, especially when they come in our beautiful hills, not far from where we live.
Giulia and Federico exchanged their vows in a secret courtyard, in a little stone village where everyone knows each other. For the couple was very important to find just the right place, where you feel at home, to share their love with dearest friends and families.

Using a mix of simple greenery, wildflowers, hand-painted wood signs and vintage-meets-rustic decor, they took the romantic feel up a level and created a relaxed yet elegant day that was full of heartfelt moments and joy.

Romina + Philip - elegant castle wedding in Florence
We first met Romina and Phil last winter, for their engagement session in Florence, and instantly felt a connection with these two special souls! Living in Canada, but faithful to their Italian heritage, Romina and Philip decided that their vision for their special day should involve an Italian Castle: their choice was Vincigliata Castle, a straight-out-of-a-fairytale Medieval structure, not far from Florence, Tuscany.
Their day was perfectly planned and organized by Alessia B. Weddings, with amazing floral decorations by Il Giardino delle Fate Flowers...

Their day was perfectly planned and organized by Alessia B. Weddings, with amazing floral decorations by Il Giardino delle Fate Flowers. The getting ready took place in a uber stylish hotel in Florence city centre, with huge windows overlooking river Arno and Ponte Vecchio. For their religious ceremony, they chose one of the most stunning churches in town, San Filippo Neri, and then, the newlyweds escorted their guests to the reception venue, that was still a secret up to that point - and guess the surprise on their guests' faces when they arrived at such a magical spot in the heart of the Tuscan countryside!
The cocktail hour was held on the castle terrace and gardens, right before the most amazing al fresco dinner, in the castle inner court. With all the stonework, the ivy and the Medieval decor, not much needed to be added to the beautifully decorated u-shaped tables: just touches of gold, white linen and natural elements such as seasonal fruits and olive branches.

Maddalena + Leonardo - a chic vintage wedding at Villa Gaia Gandini
The first time we set our eyes on Maddalena and Leonardo, in a crazy busy event in Milan, we thought they were one of the most stylish couples we've ever seen. In the following months, not only they confirmed our first impression, but we discovered they are also the most genuine and creative souls. As Maddalena is a super talented illustrator, she wanted to something special for her wedding, so she not only created by herself the sweetest stationery
The first time we set our eyes on Maddalena and Leonardo, in a crazy busy event in Milan, we thought they were one of the most stylish couples we've ever seen. In the following months, not only they confirmed our first impression, but we discovered they are also the most genuine and creative souls. As Maddalena is a super talented illustrator, she wanted to something special for her wedding, so she not only created by herself the sweetest stationery, but also decided to paint a little portrait for anyone of the guest. That's how we love our couples. Creative and patient, willing to make an effort to have the wedding of their dreams.
The setting of the day was Villa Gaia Gandini, a magnificent Italian villa with a river that runs just at the end of the garden.
Blush, pink and lavender for the bridesmaids, a dress that seems directly out of a fairytale, lots of personal details and the craziest dances at the end of the day. Enjoy, and get inspired!
Buona visione, e buona ispirazione!
2015
At the end of every year we do not completely realize what we have been through in the last 365 days. Even if we try and collect our memories, we usually miss some faces, travels or breathtaking view. So, this 2015 diary is not just for you, but mainly for us, because we want to remember.
We want to remember happy moments, and moving tears, the Alps covered with snow, and the golden Apulian light, our beloved Paris, and the great beauty of Rome. Lots of moments mean lots of pictures - so grab yourself a cup of coffee while you look through one of the longest post we've ever published! ( #sorrynotsorry)
And thank you for believing in our work. It's because of you that we've been selected between world's best wedding photographers by one of our favorite wedding websites. Thank you - everyone of you - for making this so special.
